New Hampshire Lottery Says Friday's Mega Millions Jackpot Could Climb To $672M
The New Hampshire Lottery said the one-time cash payout is expected to rise to $293.3 million before taxes.

CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire Lottery players will have a chance to win an estimated $672 million in Thursday night’s Mega Millions drawing, according to the New Hampshire Lottery.
The drawing is set for 10:59 p.m. Thursday, July 17, and the one-time cash payout is anticipated to climb to $293.3 million before taxes are withheld.
The jackpot has been building since March 2026. According to the New Hampshire Lottery, an Ohio player purchased a $60 million jackpot-winning ticket that month, and there have now been 34 consecutive drawings without a jackpot winner.

“Life is good in New Hampshire with a growing Mega Millions jackpot and beautiful weather in the forecast,” Charlie McIntyre, the executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery, said. “While we may all be thinking about the weekend approaching, it’s important to remember every lottery ticket purchased delivers funding to public education in New Hampshire. For $5, you’ll have the opportunity to win a life-changing prize while making a difference in educating the next generation. It’s a win-win!”
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:59 p.m., according to the lottery. Tickets are sold at more than 1,200 retailers statewide and online through NH iLottery. Players may buy a Mega Millions ticket until 9:48 p.m. online or 9:50 p.m. in stores on the evening of the draw, according to the New Hampshire Lottery.

The lottery said it has contributed more than $3 billion to education in New Hampshire since 1964. According to the agency, it has recorded more than $10 billion in lottery sales and other earnings over the past 62 years, with nearly $7 billion paid in prizes and other cost of sales.
