• After Returning From Sabbatical, Concord City Manager Decides To Retire Early In 2027 (patch.com) — Concord's longtime city manager Tom Aspell plans to retire on Jan. 31, 2027, after nearly three decades serving the city in multiple leadership roles. City officials in Concord will soon launch a careful recruitment process to choose his successor, aiming to maintain continuity for residents, businesses, and staff while honoring Aspell's long tenure and impact.
   

• Man From Bow Arrested On His 3rd Driving Under The Influence Charge: Concord Police Log (patch.com) — Concord residents are named in a series of recent police arrests across the city, including incidents on Thompson Street, Loudon Road, North Spring Street, Beacon Street, and other local spots. Charges range from simple assault and bench warrants to drug, weapons, and child endangerment offenses, along with a Bow man's third DUI on South Main Street.
