New Hampshire Legal Assistance Gets $1.25M IOLTA Grant For Civil Legal Aid (patch.com) — Low-income residents in Concord and across New Hampshire could see expanded access to free civil legal help after New Hampshire Legal Assistance received a $1.25 million IOLTA grant. With an office in Concord, the nonprofit will use the funding to support cases involving housing, domestic violence, and public benefits for vulnerable Granite Staters.
   

2. Woman Accused Of Crashing An Out-Of-State SUV In Concord, Fleeing The Scene With A Pit Bull: Video (patch.com) — Concord police responded to a late-morning SUV crash off South Main Street, launching a search for a woman seen leaving the scene with a small pit bull. Officers and a K-9 unit eventually found her unresponsive in nearby woods, led her out, and later arrested her on a resisting charge while arranging a tow for the vehicle.
   

3. Man From Concord Arrested On Drunken Driving Charges Again, Faces Aggravated Count: Concord Cop Log (patch.com) — Concord residents are named in a series of recent police actions, including drug, theft, assault, and registration-related charges stemming from incidents across city streets and businesses. One Langdon Avenue man faces second-offense and aggravated DUI charges after allegedly driving with a high blood alcohol level through a busy Concord intersection, with court dates already scheduled.
   

4. Kid's Music Fest coming to Concord on 9/12 (theconcordinsider.com) — Families in Concord can enjoy a free Kid's Music Fest on September 12 at the NH State House lawn, featuring live, original children's music and activities from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Designed to be fully accessible and cost-free, the event invites kids to sing, dance, and even enter a new songwriting contest right in downtown Concord.
   

5. Inaugural Franco Fest to showcase the diverse cultures of the French-speaking world (unionleader.com) — Concord will host the first-ever Franco Fest this Saturday at the Kimball-Jenkins Estate, celebrating French-speaking cultures with live music, food, vendors, and kids' activities. Organizers hope residents from Concord and across New Hampshire will explore everything from Québecois traditions to West African and Louisiana influences, all with free admission and food available for purchase.
