South End Teen Arrested By Concord Police On More Threat And Domestic Violence Assault Charges

CONCORD, NH — A teen from the South End, with active assault and threat charges working their way through district court, was arrested again last month on more threat and assault charges, according to police and court documents.

May Hubbard, 19, of Allison Street in Concord, was arrested on June 14 on a felony count of criminal threatening-deadly weapon as well as criminal mischief, domestic violence-simple assault, two simple assault, and two criminal threatening charges.

Around 1 p.m., police were sent to a home on Allison Street for a report of a domestic dispute between a parent and adult child. The parent accused the teen of “throwing and breaking things around the house” and threatening him with a knife, according to an affidavit.

When police arrived, they interviewed the parents.

One accused Hubbard of grabbing a drinking glass and holding it over their head while standing over the woman, a report said. The teen then said, “something along the lines of ‘I’ll throw it’,” the report stated. Hubbard then threw the glass on the floor, not at the woman, and it shattered, the witness told police.

The husband confirmed the wife’s account of the smashed glass, the report stated.

After smashing the glass, the husband accused Hubbard of running into the kitchen, grabbing a knife, and walking toward him while holding the knife over their head, stating, “I am going to kill you,” an officer wrote. When asked to stop, the teen kicked him in the legs and returned to the kitchen, the affidavit said.

After hearing the calamity downstairs, a second teen checked to see if his parents were OK.

Later, he walked away from the situation, and Hubbard was accused of grabbing a soda bottle and throwing it at the other teenager, striking his back. Police confirmed the hit from a mark, according to the report.

Hubbard was accused of then picking up the bottle and emptying the soda onto the floor.

The teen was arrested and held without bail. Hubbard pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charges on June 15, but offered no plea to the felony count, according to court records.

Previous Case Still Active

Hubbard was arrested in a previous criminal threatening and assault case in Concord in August 2025.

The teen was out on personal recognizance bail at the time of the mid-June incident. That case is still active, according to court records.

A motion to seal was filed by the teen’s public defender in mid-October 2025, just before the teen was expected to be evaluated for competency. However, there has been a backlog of evaluation requests, according to a court letter. Hubbard was evaluated via video in early March, and a status hearing was held on April 6.

Another competency hearing has been booked for July 30.
