• Man From Exeter Indicted On Strangulation Charge: Rockingham County Superior Court Indictments (patch.com) — Rockingham County grand jurors handed up multiple indictments, including one charging Exeter resident Thomas Sturgis with felony domestic violence strangulation after an alleged April 2 incident in town. Another case details a wrong-way DUI crash on Route 101 in Exeter that injured a state trooper, alongside several other regional assault, drug, theft, and false alarm charges. 
• Stolen vehicle search prompts heavy police presence in Exeter, Hampton (seacoastonline.com) — Exeter police responded Friday afternoon after a stolen vehicle from Atkinson was found abandoned on Hampton Road, prompting a large search across Exeter and Hampton with K‑9 teams and multiple agencies. Officers tracked toward Ashbrook Avenue and checked reports of a man running nearby, but no suspect has yet been found. The vehicle was recovered and returned, and the investigation continues.
