• Mass. Man Indicted On Hampton Crack Dealing Charge: Rockingham County Superior Court Indictments (patch.com) — Rockingham County prosecutors have indicted several people on felony charges, including a Massachusetts man accused of possessing at least 5 grams of crack cocaine in Hampton in December 2025. The list of indictments covers alleged assaults, thefts, stalking, and a false active-shooter report across multiple New Hampshire communities, with all cases still at the indictment stage and not convictions.
   

• Stolen vehicle search prompts heavy police presence in Exeter, Hampton (seacoastonline.com) — Police mounted a large search Friday across Exeter and Hampton after finding a stolen vehicle abandoned on Hampton Road and receiving reports of a suspicious man running near Warner Lane. Multiple agencies, including Hampton Police and a K‑9 team, joined the effort, but no suspect has yet been identified. Residents may still notice an increased police presence as the investigation continues.
   

• NH News Briefs 8-21-2026 (thepulseofnh.com) — Hampton drivers face a major change January 1, when the standard cash and non‑NH E‑ZPass toll at the Hampton plaza will double from $2 to $4, while NH E‑ZPass users keep today's discounted rate. The statewide news brief also covers an assault investigation in Derry, a fatal Amtrak incident in Plaistow, school‑traffic warnings in Manchester, and a legislative censure at the State House.
