• House approves bill to address abuse in New Hampshire's disability system (newsfromthestates.com) — A bill co-sponsored by Littleton Republican Sen. David Rochefort to curb abuse and neglect in New Hampshire’s disability care system has cleared the House and now heads back to the Senate. The measure would create a Developmental Services Oversight Commission, improve data sharing, and speed up placing suspected abusers on a state registry, with final approval still pending.
   

• Home-schooling deregulation bill makes it out of the Senate (unionleader.com) — Littleton’s own Rep. David Rochefort helped advance a major homeschooling deregulation bill that also adds new transparency rules for prescription drug middlemen. The measure would end mandatory homeschool notification and annual evaluations, while clarifying that families using Education Freedom Accounts can still tap certain public school services. It now returns to the House for a final decision.
