After Multi-Week Child Abuse Investigation, Londonderry Man Charged With Assault (patch.com) — Londonderry residents are learning more about a multi-week police investigation that led to child assault and endangerment charges against a 33-year-old local father. Detectives, working with DCYF and Boston Children's Hospital staff, allege the 3-month-old infant's injuries were non-accidental and occurred in early July, with the father ultimately surrendering on a warrant and being released on cash bail after arraignment.
   

2. DEA opens new laboratory facility in Londonderry (wmur.com) — Londonderry is now home to a new $50 million DEA laboratory that officials say will speed up drug testing, prosecutions, and detection of emerging street drugs across New England. Nearly 80 employees will work at the facility, which also becomes a national hub for fingerprint analysis. Local leaders emphasize its role in targeting those trafficking dangerous substances that affect New Hampshire communities.
   

3. Londonderry Man Indicted On Attempted Murder Charges: Rockingham County Superior Court Indictments (patch.com) — Several Rockingham County indictments include serious cases tied directly to Londonderry, including an alleged attempted murder of two family members and a vehicle assault that injured someone in town. Another defendant is accused of driving as a habitual offender on Rockingham Road.
