• Veronica Guyre (vnews.com) — Lyme residents are mourning longtime neighbor Veronica Schmid Guyre, who passed away peacefully at her Lyme home on March 25 after a long battle with cancer. A dedicated nurse, avid outdoorswoman, and passionate conservationist, she helped preserve land across Northern New England and shared abundant flowers and vegetables from her gardens. A memorial celebration of her life is planned for June 20, 2026.
