Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered a heavily damaged motorcycle resting in the roadway and a blue Audi that had flipped onto a nearby stone wall.

Witnesses report that the motorcyclist was traveling southbound directly behind a yellow sedan when the oncoming blue Audi crossed into the opposite lane for unknown reasons. The yellow car fled the scene without stopping, leaving the motorcyclist to absorb the full head-on impact from the Audi. The collision threw the rider, who slid a significant distance down the pavement.
Merrimack police temporarily closed the road to clear the wreckage and conduct an initial field investigation. While the roadway has since reopened, the crash remains under active investigation.
