20 Planet Fitness Clubs Participating In Sneaker Drive For Boys & Girls Clubs
Gently used sneakers will be accepted in Concord, Londonderry, Manchester, Merrimack, Nashua, Portsmouth, and Salem through Oct. 31.

NASHUA, NH — Select Planet Fitness locations in New Hampshire will collect gently used sneakers through Oct. 31 as part of a regional recycling campaign benefiting local Boys & Girls Clubs.
Participating clubs are teaming up with GotSneakers to launch the drive, which invites members and community residents to donate used footwear. Collection bins will be placed at participating Planet Fitness locations during the campaign.
Once donated, the sneakers will be processed by GotSneakers, which the announcement describes as a national organization that recycles and reuses footwear to reduce landfill waste and promote sustainability. All donation proceeds will directly benefit local Boys & Girls Clubs and help fund programs and services for youth.

The campaign links a local donation effort to a broader partnership already in place between Planet Fitness and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Planet Fitness partners with Boys & Girls Clubs of America through its national philanthropic initiative, Judgment Free Generation, which aims to support youth well-being and encourage kinder communities. Since 2016, Planet Fitness, along with its franchisees, members, and partners, has contributed more than $12 million to support what it described as pro-kindness initiatives.
PF Clubs in the Patch communities of Concord, Londonderry, Manchester, Merrimack, Nashua, Portsmouth, and Salem are participating as well as Stratham, Seabrook, Rochester, Raymond, Plaistow, Lee, Keene, Dover, Derry, and Belmont, according to the company.
