Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua Celebrates a Year of Creativity with Eight New Murals

NASHUA, N.H. – Eight new murals now line the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua following two MuralFest events held in 2026, bringing professional artists from across the U.S. and around the world together with Club members to transform the Club through art.

MuralFest, which began in 2024, brings professional mural artists together with Club members and the broader community to create large-scale works of art throughout the Club. The projects give young people opportunities to work alongside professional artists, explore new creative techniques, and see their ideas become part of the spaces they use every day.

The 2026 MuralFest season began in April, when Cristhian Londoño, SEPC_, J Daniel Correa Osorio, Jeraldine Hernandez, and Mugre Diamante (Colombia) collaborated to create three murals at the Club.

The celebration continued August 21 through September 2 with Be Creative MuralFest, which brought 10 nationally and internationally recognized artists together to create five additional murals throughout the Club, both indoors and outdoors.

The participating artists included:

• Paul Monsters — England
• Jeraldine Hernandez — Colombia
• J Daniel Correa Osorio — Colombia
• SEPC_ — Colombia
• Ms.Yellow — Los Angeles
• Ivan Salazar — Colombia
• Eterno — Colombia

Beyond the murals themselves, each MuralFest gave Club members opportunities to participate in hands-on art workshops throughout the festival. Workshops included spray paint and stencils, clay, color blocking and mural techniques, hip hop dance, collaborative drawing and more.

“Art gives young people a way to express themselves, explore new ideas, and feel that they belong,” said Cristhian Londoño, Director of Arts & Youth Voice at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua. “MuralFest takes that a step further by allowing our members to experience the process alongside professional artists and see their own creativity and voice become part of the Club. These murals are not just artwork on our walls; they reflect the young people who helped bring these projects to life.”

With eight new murals created through the two 2026 events, MuralFest has continued to transform the Club into a space where young people can experience art in a meaningful and lasting way. The murals now serve as permanent pieces of the Club environment, reflecting the creativity and collaboration that went into creating them.

“Our goal is for our Club to reflect the energy, talent, and potential of the young people who walk through our doors every day,” said Craig Fitzgerald, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua. “The artists and partners who made our 2026 MuralFests possible did more than transform our walls—they helped create a place where young people feel inspired, valued, and proud to belong.”

MuralFest is part of the Club’s broader Arts & Youth Voice programming, which provides young people with opportunities to explore creativity through fine art, digital art, street art, murals, crafts, dance, and other forms of artistic expression. Through these experiences, Club members are encouraged to discover their voices, build confidence, and engage with art in ways that connect to their lives and community.
