The Music Hall has a new CEO in time for fall (vermontpublic.org) — Portsmouth's Music Hall has named Markus Gottschlich as its new president and CEO, effective Sept. 1, giving the landmark theater fresh leadership before the busy fall season. The venue has been without a permanent chief since last November, when its previous CEO resigned after controversy over canceling a fundraiser for a Seacoast abortion provider, amid broader funding challenges for arts groups.
