3. Veterans Count to host free concert featuring Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band (unionleader.com) — Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band are coming to 35 Corporate Drive in Portsmouth on Thursday, Sept. 24, for a free Veterans Count "Salute Our Heroes" concert supporting New Hampshire's military and veteran community. The evening will feature an opening act at 5 p.m., followed by the band at 6 p.m., with proceeds aiding local programs that provide critical assistance to service members and their families.

Thursday Seacoast Roundup: Perry cards medalist round for STA, more results (seacoastonline.com) — Portsmouth High's field hockey team rolled to a 6-0 win over Dover, led by a hat trick from Estie Gunn and strong support from several teammates. The wider Seacoast roundup also recaps St. Thomas Aquinas' dominant golf and volleyball performances, plus other New Hampshire and southern Maine high school results that local fans may be following.

Seacoast Towns See August Home Sales Slip While Median Price Climbs (patch.com) — Home sales across 13 Seacoast towns, including Portsmouth, dipped in August even as the median single-family price climbed to $923,500, the highest since April.
