• Hearing on Closure of Oyster Reef Restoration Site to Be Held October 5 (nhfishgame.com) — Portsmouth residents can weigh in on proposed oyster harvest closures at a public hearing on Monday, October 5, 2026, 6 p.m. at the Urban Forestry Center on Elwyn Road. Fish and Game, The Nature Conservancy, and UNH will explain a five-year plan to close two Great Bay restoration areas to shellfish harvesting and take public comments through October 12.
