• Fire causes heavy damage to two-family home in Winchendon (atholdailynews.com) — Richmond fire crews helped cover Winchendon’s station while local firefighters battled a major house fire on Benjamin Street Wednesday evening. The blaze heavily damaged a two-family home but all occupants escaped safely. Several firefighters suffered heat-related issues as multiple departments from Massachusetts and New Hampshire provided mutual aid in extreme conditions.
