• Lawrence man pleads guilty to conspiracy to manufacture and distribute counterfeit fentanyl pills (wwlp.com) — A major fentanyl trafficking case tied to activity while the defendant was on pretrial release from Salem District Court in New Hampshire is moving toward sentencing. Federal prosecutors say the Lawrence man admitted to helping manufacture and sell large quantities of counterfeit fentanyl pills across the region, with sentencing set for January 2027 and a possible decades-long prison term.
