"As of now, expecting highs in the low to mid 80s on Tuesday, with upper 80s to low 90s on Wednesday and possibly into Thursday," National Weather Service forecasters said.
The record highest temperature in Trenton for April 15 is 87 degrees, which was set in 1994, according to the National Weather Service.
If temperatures reach 90, it will be the first 90-degree day of the year and the first since September.
Temperatures will be cooler near and along the coast.
Wildfires will be a concern Monday. However, winds will be light through the rest of the week, so while conditions will be dry, the wildfire risk is low.
