• Trio plead guilty to dumping the body of a man on the side of a N.J. road after kidnapping and killing him (nj.com subscription) — State police say three Newark men have now been sentenced after admitting roles in kidnapping a man and bringing him to Allamuchy Township, where he was fatally shot off Route 80 in 2022. Investigators traced the case from the discovery of remains near milepost 16.6 to guilty pleas for aggravated manslaughter and lengthy prison terms without early release.
