Pine Island is a non-profit summer camp, in continuous operation since 1902 that fosters boys’ independence, imagination, and character. While many camps operate as profit-driven small businesses, Pine Island stands apart as a 501(c)(3) organization. For over a century, it has provided boys aged nine to fifteen the most meaningful experiences of their lives. On a small island in Maine’s Belgrade Lakes, campers live unplugged—without electricity or running water. They gain the freedom to make meaningful choices, the support of a community grounded in shared values, and enough time away from home to feel both independent and integral to a unique community they help build. Whether your son is shy or outgoing, big or small, Pine Island will challenge him to bring out his best in the simple joys and varied circumstances of outdoor living. The Township of Ocean Historical Museum, founded in 1984, is a member-supported, 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, incorporated under the laws of the State of New Jersey. Its headquarters, the Eden Woolley House, is one of the few 18th-century structures still in existence in the Township. The museum serves as the ancestral home to every citizen of the Township of Ocean. Crossroads has been providing outpatient Medication-Assisted Treatment for over 10 years to people suffering from dependence to heroin, pain medication, or other opiates. Crossroads has developed a treatment program to meet the needs of people suffering from addiction to any type of opiate. This treatment program consists of two main pieces: treatment medication and counseling. These pieces are combined to provide you with the most effective treatment for your addiction. The medication you receive will not only provide your brain time to heal, but also manage symptoms of your addiction to allow you to focus on recovery activities. The counseling support you receive is what is going to set you up for success in long-term recovery when you’re ready to stop taking the medication We understand that you may have work, family, or other responsibilities that make the realities of your addiction that much more serious. This realization can make attending typical forms of treatment seem out of reach. MAT has proven to be the solution to this dilemma for many patients who have been successful in treatment.
