The display commemorates the bravery of local residents who risked their own lives to rescue victims of shipwrecks along the Jersey Shore and celebrates the legacy of Abner Allen, whose vision and generosity helped shape the Borough of Allenhurst.Join residents and visitors for this beautiful annual tradition as we gather to reflect on our town's rich maritime history, honor those who came before us, and witness the shoreline aglow in a moving display of remembrance and community pride.
