Longtime Neptune City Restaurant Is Closing

NEPTUNE, NJ — Shore Good Eats is closing their location in Neptune City, and relocating to Berkeley in Ocean County.

Shore Good Eats announced Feb. 24 on their Instagram account they will be closing their cafe on West Sylvania Avenue and reopening in the Bayville section of Berkeley.

"We are proud to announce that we are bringing Shore Good Eats down to Bayville!" the family-owned eatery announced last week. "After 10 years in business & eight years in Neptune City we have finally outgrown our small (but mighty) cafe & have decided we need some more room to grow!"

Shore Good Eats started as a food truck. They will be expanding to serve dinner down in Bayville (right now, they are breakfast and lunch only).

They plan to open at 439 Rt. 9 in Berkeley (the Berkeley ShopRite plaza) sometime this spring (exact month not announced).

"This new space while much bigger will still hold all the love, passion & delicious food you have come to know from the Shore Good Eats Brand," said the family. "Nat & myself have worked tirelessly to envision what the next chapter of Shore Good Eats would look like & we can’t wait for you all to see & most of all taste what we’ve been cooking up! What can you expect? The same delicious handcrafted items, all scratch made food made from fresh locally sourced ingredients. We will still be serving breakfast & lunch but now also dinner! The bake shop will be significantly expanded to meet the demand & allow Nat to run wild with her Cinnamon Buns, Brownies & much much more. Tons of more info to come & even more work to do. Shore Good Eats is owned by the Fahnholz family, the Asbury Park Press reported.
