Woman Found Dead In Ocean Off Asbury Park Identified
The woman whose body was pulled from the Atlantic Ocean off Asbury Park is identified as a missing woman from Woodbridge.
ASBURY PARK, NJ — The woman whose body was pulled from the Atlantic Ocean off Asbury Park Saturday night is identified as a missing woman from Woodbridge.
This is according to Asbury Park Police Sergeant Michael Casey.
At 7:35 p.m. Saturday, the body of an adult woman, fully clothed, was found floating in the ocean on the 800 block of Ocean Avenue.

When Asbury Park Police and firefighters got to the beach, people had pulled the woman ashore and were performing CPR on her. However, the woman was pronounced deceased, and her body is currently being autopsied to confirm her exact cause of death.
Casey said the woman was confirmed to be a reported missing person from Woodbridge. Her name will not be released out of respect for her privacy and her family.
