The project fulfills resident historian Walt Casebeerās decades-old dream, championed by Mayor Robert Jakubowski and the Audubon Historical Society. Visitors can explore local memorabilia amid preserved schoolhouse details that bring the boroughās past vividly to life.

(theretrospect.com) ā An Audubon High School student, Amanda Drummond, has won first place in the national America250 Field Trip contest for her Statue of Liberty torch artwork, inspired by a friendās immigration story. Her prize includes flipping the ceremonial coin at a World Cup match in Philadelphia on July 4 and having her work featured on a national birthday cake displayed in Washington, D.C. Ā Ā Ā
