Benefit Ride Set In Honor Of Late Manahawkin Teen

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — The 4th Annual Ride4Dylan is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, in Manahawkin, with the event starting and finishing at ManaFirkin Brewing Company, 450 East Bay Ave., according to a press release.

Check-in starts at 10 a.m., the ride begins at 11:30 a.m., and people who have not pre-registered may start arriving by 9:30 a.m. The cost is $30 per person to attend or participate in the ride.

According to the release, the event honors Dylan Destefano and supports scholarships awarded in his name to Barnegat High School students. Destefano died in a motorcycle crash in 2022.

“Dylan’s life ended way too soon and he’s missed very much,” the press release reads. “He was full of life and lived it to the fullest.”

The family honors his life by awarding Barnegat High School Students scholarships in his name, according to the release. To date, 11 scholarships have been awarded totaling $13,000, the release states.

The fundraiser also is expected to include a 50/50 raffle, more than 30 gift basket raffles, a corn hole tournament, and a coffee truck and food truck, according to the announcement.
