Ridge Sweet Shop Opens With Taylor Swift-Inspired Dessert Menu
Basking Ridge native Caitlin Cunningham is officially opening Ridge Sweet Shop in Downtown Basking Ridge on Wednesday.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Ridge Sweet Shoppe in Downtown Basking Ridge officially is opening Wednesday at noon.
The shop located at 24 West Oak Street is owned by Basking Ridge native Caitlin Cunningham. Cunningham also runs The Blue Starfish Creative Arts Center, which opened in June 2022 next door.
Ridge Sweet Shoppe will offer an assortment of desserts including crepes (made to order), waffles (made to order), muffins, truffles, cookies, brownies, cakepops, cupcakes, bubble waffles, bubble tea, and assorted chocolate-covered fruit.

Cunningham is also offering a Taylor Swift-inspired dessert menu available for all of the Swifties.

Orders will also be available for online orders through DoorDash and UberEats.

For Cunningham opening her own small business is a dream come true. She pursued business in school and was awarded a scholarship to help her fulfill her dreams.
"I always dreamed of opening a storefront and I've always aspired to be a small business owner. This is truly a moment where I never stopped pursuing my dream," said Cunningham. "I don't think I've been so happy in my life. This is absolutely an incredible opportunity and I am so blessed."
