• Belleville Man Fends Off Armed Robber Outside His Home, Police Say (patch.com) — A Belleville resident fought off an armed robber outside his home on Cedar Hill Avenue early Saturday, escaping unharmed as the suspect fled in a black sedan without taking anything. Police say the investigation is ongoing and are asking anyone with information to contact the Belleville Police Department. The suspect is described as a thin male in dark clothing and a face mask.
