Court records say their grandfather, a Bayville resident, had a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit hours after the collision and now faces two counts of reckless vessel homicide while under strict monitoring conditions pending trial.

Exit 81 will be eliminated, exits renumbered, and new ramps added near Route 9 and Double Trouble Road to ease backups and improve safety along this busy Ocean County stretch.
