• Bloomfield Man Shoved Woman, Touched Her Inappropriately: Police (patch.com) — An alleged assault on a woman walking along Delaware Place in Bloomfield led police to arrest a 27-year-old local man, who is also suspected in similar incidents elsewhere. The victim reported being shoved to the ground and inappropriately touched, suffering minor injuries, and Bloomfield police say surveillance footage helped them identify the suspect.

• NJ State Senator Timberlake's Budget (thepositivecommunity.com) — Bloomfield is set to receive $1.2 million in municipal funding plus $100,000 for its school district under State Sen. Britnee Timberlake's 2027 budget allocations. Local residents will also see $20,000 directed to Bloomfield Presbyterian Church on the Green's food pantry, alongside broader investments in housing, labor rights, youth programs, and independent local news across the district.
