Sidewalk Sale In Bloomfield Will Return For 2026: Shopping, Deals, Family Fun

The Bloomfield Center Alliance (BCA) is excited to announce the return of the Bloomfield Center Sidewalk Sale on Saturday, April 25, 2026 (rain or shine) from noon to 5 p.m. The day will feature more than 20 businesses bringing their unique products and services directly to the sidewalks of Bloomfield Center for an afternoon of shopping, deals, and family fun.
With the goal of encouraging people to “shop small and shop local,” the Sidewalk Sale invites residents and visitors to walk around Bloomfield Center and explore these shops who will be selling merchandise, offering promotional discounts, and/or bringing something cool right outside their front door. Highlights:
- Sidewalk Specials and Cool Experiences: Over 20 local businesses will set up shop in front of their stores, offering special sales, discounts, raffle prizes, giveaways, and fun interactive experiences
- Live Entertainment: Attendees can enjoy live music and family-friendly entertainment at Six Points Plaza (corner of Bloomfield and Glenwood Avenues); Kassaye Selassie will perform from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. and Tonia Ray will perform from 3-5 p.m.
- Color-coded Maps: Visitors can pick up a copy of customized color-coded maps at Six Points Plaza showing the location of participating businesses and what they are offering that day
- Special Guest Attraction: Visitors will get to meet the team from Puppet Heap – a creative arts studio that recently relocated to Bloomfield Center and whose creations have been featured on shows like Nickelodeon and Sesame Workshop
"This event is a fantastic opportunity for the community to 'Shop Small' and support the entrepreneurs who make Bloomfield Center unique," said the Bloomfield Center Alliance. "Whether you're looking for a special Mother's Day gift or just want to enjoy a day out with the family strolling from store to store, there is something for everyone."
