• Brick considers new speed restrictions following teen's hit-and-run death (news12.com) — Brick officials are moving toward lowering the speed limit on Lanes Mill Road to 35 mph after a Brick High School student was killed in a hit-and-run near Rhode Island Avenue. Residents are split on whether the change is enough, but many remain worried about kids walking and biking there as the new school year begins, with a final council vote set for Tuesday.
