Brush Fire Sparks Along Route 202 In Bridgewater

The Bradley Garden Volunteer Fire Company battled the fire over the weekend.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A brush fire sparked along Route 202 in Bridgewater over the weekend.

The fire was reported just after 4 p.m. on Saturday on Route 202 North near NJ Transit's Raritan Valley Train Line bridge across from Wegmans, said Bradley Gardens Volunteer Fire Company Chief Charlie Gill.

Roughly a 20-by-30-foot area was burnt. The cause is still undetermined, said Gill.
