Liver Cancer Awareness Month is October, concurrent with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Bile duct cancers (cholangiocarcinoma), including those that originate within the liver, remain a serious challenge. Liver health is also important for other type of cancers at late stage, such as breast cancer, if cancer spread to the liver.
