Bridgewater Photographer Focuses Lens On Local Student Athletes (patch.com) — Bridgewater residents can see their student athletes and family milestones through the lens of longtime local photographer Tom Zarcone, who runs Zarcone Photography in town. As the official photographer for Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers and media partner for Bridgewater-Raritan High School football, he covers nine sports plus proms, senior nights, and community events, aiming to capture joyful, emotional moments for local families.
   

2. Resident Wanted For Driving Through Fire Scene, Damaging Hose In Bridgewater: Fire Department (patch.com) — Bridgewater officials are asking residents to help identify a driver who allegedly ignored firefighters' warnings, drove through an active fire scene in Bradley Gardens, and damaged a pressurized hose, causing more than $2,000 in equipment losses. The Fire District #2 Board of Commissioners stresses the danger this created for responders and bystanders and is seeking information by email to pursue restitution.
   

3. Motorcyclist Dies In Crash With Truck At Bridgewater Intersection (patch.com) — Bridgewater residents are being asked for information after a 29-year-old Somerset man died when his motorcycle collided with a Ford F-150 at the intersection of Finderne Avenue and East Main Street on Sunday afternoon. Police say the pickup, driven by a Somerville man, turned left into the motorcycle's path, and the victim later died at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Somerville.
   

4. Cade Smith Named MiLB's Eastern League Pitcher of the Week For 8/18 – 8/23 (tapinto.net) — Bridgewater baseball fans have a new reason to cheer: Somerset Patriots pitcher Cade Smith has been named Eastern League Pitcher of the Week for his dominant performances from August 18–23. The Yankees prospect allowed just one earned run over his last two starts, including a six‑inning, one‑hit shutout effort against Hartford, highlighting a strong Double‑A season in Bridgewater.
