Driver Damages Fire Hose, Causes $2,000 Loss Amid Bridgewater Blaze; Public's Help Needed (magic983.com) — Bridgewater Fire District 2 is asking residents to help identify a driver who ignored firefighters at an Aug. 20 Oak Street house fire and drove over a pressurized hose, causing more than $2,000 in damage. Officials say the hose could have failed catastrophically, risking serious injury, and are urging anyone with information to email bwtfd2@yahoo.com.
   

4. Bridgewater's Sewer System Challenges, Costs Linked To Stormwater (patch.com) — Bridgewater officials are planning multi‑year sewer upgrades and a 2027 budget request to cut costly stormwater inflow into the aging township system. Major projects include upgrades to key pumping stations, a new river crossing near Headgates Dam, and stepped‑up enforcement against illegal sump pump and roof drain hookups that drive up treatment costs for residents.
   

5. Township Approves Ordinance Regarding Provisions for Land Use Development (tapinto.net) — Bridgewater's Township Council has approved an omnibus land‑use ordinance that tweaks zoning fees, clarifies residential lighting rules, and tightens oversight of commercial uses.
