Officials say the hose could have failed catastrophically, risking serious injury, and are urging anyone with information to email bwtfd2@yahoo.com.
   

4. Bridgewater's Sewer System Challenges, Costs Linked To Stormwater (patch.com) — Bridgewater officials are planning multi‑year sewer upgrades and a 2027 budget request to cut costly stormwater inflow into the aging township system. Major projects include upgrades to key pumping stations, a new river crossing near Headgates Dam, and stepped‑up enforcement against illegal sump pump and roof drain hookups that drive up treatment costs for residents.
