• Thrifty Threads Clothing Sale To Benefit Bridgewater Elementary School (patch.com) — Bridgewater families can shop for affordable clothing, costumes, bikes, and more at the Bradley Gardens PTO's Thrifty Threads Clothing Sale on Oct. 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bradley Gardens School. While adults browse, kids can enjoy a supervised Community Playdate on the playground, with all proceeds supporting PTO-funded student experiences.
   

• House Of Worship Plan At Former Route 22 Site Gets Approval In Bridgewater (patch.com) — Bridgewater's zoning board has approved Liquid Church's plan to convert the office building at 430 Route 22 East into a 940-seat house of worship, with extensive interior renovations and parking already on site. Conditions include stormwater maintenance, landscaping fixes, a new NJDOT access permit, limits on the LED sign, and possible police traffic assistance for large gatherings.
   

• Basking Ridge's John Orfan Honored For Decades Of Service (patch.com) — A recent ceremony at the Bridgewater Township Senior Center honored 24 seniors from across New Jersey's 7th Congressional District for decades of community service, including several Somerset County residents. The event highlighted volunteers' work with local fire, rescue, and senior organizations, underscoring how long-term service by neighbors helps strengthen communities throughout the Bridgewater area and beyond.
