Run by Avnos, the site expands the company's research and development campus and has drawn praise from Somerset County business leaders. The project positions Bridgewater as a hub for emerging climate and water technologies.
   

• Public Confronts Somerset County Library Board, Questions Storyline Behind Abrupt Closure of Somerville Library July 31 Blamed on Existence of Mold (tapinto.net) — Somerville residents packed a tense Somerset County Library Commission meeting at the Bridgewater Library, challenging the director's decision to abruptly close the Somerville branch over alleged mold concerns. • No. 2 St. Joseph-Metuchen takes early lead, then rallies for 43-36 win over No. 6 Bridgewater-Raritan (cjsportsradio.com) — Bridgewater-Raritan's football team put up a fierce fight in Metuchen, briefly taking a fourth-quarter lead before falling 43-36 to second-ranked St. Joseph. The Panthers' comeback was fueled by multiple touchdowns from running back Jahmier Black and key defensive interceptions, but a late St. Joe's surge and a final defensive stand ended Bridgewater's rally just short.
