Raritan PBA To Host Downtown Street Fair With Vendors, Music

The July 25 event in Raritan will feature more than 50 vendors, music and family activities downtown.

RARITAN, NJ — The Raritan Borough PBA Local 82 will be hosting a Street Fair on July 25 with food vendors, live music and family activities.

The event will run from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on West Somerset Street, with a rain date set for July 26.

The street fair will feature more than 50 food and craft vendors and is intended to promote local businesses, restore vibrancy to the downtown area and bring the community together.

Music is planned throughout the event, with performances listed by The Lesser Seamus, Wenty Watson and DJ Frank Forte.

Organizers also said the fair will include a bounce house, yard games, Minute to Win It games and the Raritan History Hunt, described as a scavenger hunt.

A special guest appearance by Sparkee of the Somerset Patriots is also planned.

The PBA said it is hosting the fair "to promote local businesses, restore vibrancy to the downtown area, and bring the community together with fun family activities."
