• Shannon Courtney Coogan (starnewsgroup.com) — Family and friends in Brielle are mourning Shannon Coogan, 55, who grew up at the Shore and had several close relatives living in town. She passed away on August 27 and leaves behind six children, eight siblings, and extended family across Brielle and nearby communities. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, and donations may support her family.
