Representatives from Rescue Shelters including Rosemarie’s Rescue Ranch, Common Sense for Animals, Meow’s Kitty Kat Rescue, West Orange TNVR, Cold Nose Warm Heart Dog Rescue, Rescue Haven Foundation, NYC Second Chance Rescue, One Step Closer Animal Rescue (O.S.C.A.R.) Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary, and Associated Humane Societies-Newark will all be on hand with their adoptable pets.
In addition to the opportunity to adopt a pet, pup cup treats will be available for anyone visiting with their pet.&nbsp; Other treats will also be available for the human companions. The event will also include a blessing of all pets.
The entire event will be hosted by Terrie Carr and will include giveaways, a 50/50, basket raffles, children’s games and face painting and vendor tables selling crafts and other items. Even if you cannot adopt at this time, you can still show your support. In addition to the 50/50 and basket raffles, The Shillelagh Club will be donating a portion of all proceeds from Tito’s Handmade Vodka drinks sold at the bar through the end of September directly to the participating rescues.
