📰 News we're reading

• Cherry Hill council hears school special needs discrimination complaints - (statebroadcastnews.com) — Cherry Hill residents pressed township council about how the school district treats special education families, urging officials to back parents over administrators. Council also advanced stricter stormwater reporting rules, approved more than $23 million in bills—most going to the Board of Education—and adjusted infrastructure and tax-relief measures that affect traffic signals, road work, and disabled veterans' property taxes.

• Youth serves as Cinnaminson gets unprecedented win against Camden Catholic (thedailyjournal.com) — A dominant defensive effort in Cherry Hill helped Cinnaminson earn its first‑ever win over Camden Catholic, 20‑0, breaking a decades‑long 0‑13 streak. In a rain‑soaked matchup, senior leader Jake Barbich and a largely underclass roster controlled the game, limiting one of South Jersey's top rushers and giving local fans a memorable milestone victory with playoff implications still ahead.

• South Jersey bus company puts a skeleton behind the driver's wheel (thedailyjournal.com) — A Gibbsboro-based bus company that runs about 100 buses for Cherry Hill schools has turned one parked vehicle into a full-on pirate ship for Halloween, complete with a skeleton "driver," sails, and cannons. The playful display, visible near the Lucas Boulevard sports complex, showcases the owner's holiday spirit while he continues managing daily student transportation across Cherry Hill and Voorhees.
