Party DJ Arrested After Bust Of Major Drug Ring In South Jersey

Suspected fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine were all involved.

CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — A party DJ and four others were arrested for their involvement in a major drug trafficking ring in South Jersey and Pennsylvania, the New Jersey District Attorney's Office said.

The group of individuals, each charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute narcotics, includes:

  • Andrew Davis (who performs under "Flip Mogella" and "Floss King"), 47, a Jamaican citizen who lives in East Nottingham, PA
  • Clifford Brown, 52, a Jamaican citizen who lived in Philadelphia
  • Damion Jones, 44, of Millville
  • James McBride, 53, of Marlton
  • Jule Stubbs, 51, of Millville

During a long-term wiretap operation, authorities coordinated drug purchases through a confidential actor, used additional electronic and physical surveillance, and carried out multiple search warrants.

The drug trafficking operation would have drugs sent to addresses they controlled in South Jersey and Pennsylvania, authorities said.

More than 38 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, more than 7.5 kilograms of suspected cocaine, and around one kilogram of fentanyl/fentanyl analogue were recovered.

"The seizures in this case represent lives potentially saved from the devastating impact of these deadly narcotics," added Special Agent Towanda R. Thorne-James. "DEA and our law enforcement partners remain committed to targeting transnational criminal organizations that profit from addiction and violence."

The conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute charge comes with a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in jail up to a maximum of life behind bars.

A fine of up to $10 million is also applicable.

The arrests were part of the Homeland Security Task Force project established under Executive Order 14159, "Protecting the American People Against Invasion."

This motion utilizes all available government resources to end criminal cartels, foreign gangs, transnational criminal organizations, and human smuggling rings.

A special emphasis is also placed on cases of child trafficking and other crimes involving children.
