• Viral 'Bongholeo' reveals motives after being charged following N.J. council meeting antics (nj.com subscription) — Cranford Township Committee meetings have drawn unusual attention after a costumed attendee, a North Plainfield resident, was charged over releasing water vapor while speaking, which he calls political satire. His appearances support Cranford resident and former committee candidate Will Thilly, who was previously arrested at a meeting. Both say they're challenging what they view as limits on public comment at Cranford meetings.
