East Brunswick Charter School Placed On Lockdown; Police Give All Clear

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - A charter school in East Brunswick was placed under a brief lockdown on Friday, police said.

East Brunswick police responded to a lockdown at Hatikvah International Academy on Friday after the school reported a security concern.

Officers arrived on scene, determined the building was safe, and lifted the lockdown, police said.

Police and school officials have not said what triggered the lockdown. Patch will update the story when more information is available.
