Driving provides independence for many older adults, but it’s important to know for many adults, but it’s important to know how to stay safe behind the wheel as we age. The Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey and the NJ Mature Drivers Resource Center are offering a free Train-the-Trainer session focused on helping mature drivers drive safely for as long as possible and navigate the transition when it's time to limit or stop driving.
The training is designed for community members who educate or support older adults and will provide helpful information on safe driving practices and lifelong mobility. The session will take place on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the North Brunswick Senior Housing Complex, located at 740 Hermann Road, North Brunswick, NJ 08902. Registration is free, and light refreshments will be served. Please register by July 31, 2026.
