• Football: Eastern Beats Hunterdon Central, 17-14 (tapinto.net) — Hunterdon Central fans in Flemington saw a heartbreaking finish Friday night as Eastern High School hit a 19-yard field goal as time expired to steal a 17-14 win. The Red Devils had led 14-0 at halftime behind two Odin Potynsky touchdowns before Eastern's late rally; Hunterdon Central next travels to Hillsborough on Sept. 3.
