• Ex-Freehold Teacher Sentenced For Sexually Assaulting Student (patch.com) — Freehold residents are learning that a former Freehold Intermediate School teacher has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for sexually assaulting a teenage student, following an investigation by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office and Freehold Borough Police. The Jackson Township woman must serve most of her term before parole, permanently give up her teaching career and public office, and register as a sex offender under Megan's Law.
