Ustad Shafaat Khan to Bring WHERE EAST MEETS WEST to Centenary Stage Company (broadwayworld.com) — Hackettstown audiences can catch world-renowned Indian classical musician Ustad Shafaat Khan at Centenary Stage Company's Sitnik Theatre on Sunday, October 4, at 2 p.m. The concert, Where East Meets West, blends Indian classical and folk traditions with flamenco, pop and Western instruments, with tickets priced slightly lower in advance and available through the Hackettstown box office.
   

2. 2 charged in shoplifting investigation at Warren County Wawa (wrnjradio.com) — Hackettstown police charged two Washington residents after investigating multiple alleged shoplifting incidents at the Mountain Avenue Wawa, where smaller drinks were reportedly paid for while larger ones were taken. Identified through surveillance and receipts, both suspects turned themselves in at Hackettstown Police Headquarters, were charged with shoplifting, and released pending a future court appearance.

Kean honors 24 seniors from 7th District for community service (wrnjradio.com) — Two Hackettstown residents, Candace "Candy" Church and Ann LaPadula, were honored among 24 seniors from New Jersey's 7th District for years of community service. Their work includes preserving Rutherfurd Hall, supporting local seniors, and improving parks and trails in Allamuchy, as well as recognition in the Hackettstown Area Senior Hall of Fame.

U.S. News & World Report Names Atlantic Health Goryeb Children's Hospital Among Best Children's Hospitals for 2026-2027 (tapinto.net) — Families in Hackettstown who rely on Atlantic Health can take note that the system's Goryeb Children's Hospital has been ranked among the best children's hospitals in the country. While the recognition centers on Morristown, it reflects the broader strength of the Atlantic Health network that also includes Hackettstown Medical Center.
