AUDOBON, NJ — A 24-year-old man from Lindenwold pleaded guilty after killing a South Jersey deli owner in 2020, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office said.
Dyheam Williams accepted a plea deal on May 4 for one count of first-degree aggravated manslaughter in connection with the death of Jerome Pastore, 52, of West Berlin.
On Jan 3, 2020, authorities responded to the Shamrock Deli in Audobon for reports of a man who had been stabbed.

Officers found Pastore across the street from the deli, which he owned, on Cuthbert Boulevard, and suffering from apparent stab wounds.
He was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he later died.

According to Action News, Pastore confronted Williams outside of the business after he tried to steal the tip jar, and an altercation ensued.
Williams was arrested in the days following the murder and taken to the Camden County Jail.
He is now estimated to receive a sentence of 19 years in jail, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office said, subject to the No Early Release Act.
Sentencing is scheduled for June 26.
