• Somerset County VoTech Students Lead Stress Management Workshop For Children (patch.com) — Hillsborough families recently benefited from a youth-led stress management workshop at the Hillsborough Library, where Somerset County VoTech UNICEF Club students taught kids practical coping skills. Children, including those with special needs, learned to recognize stress, handle bullying, and communicate feelings through games, role-playing, and creative activities. The program focused on giving Hillsborough's youngest residents simple tools they can use at home and school.
   

• Senior Center Expansion Planned In Hillsborough (patch.com) — Hillsborough seniors could soon see a much larger, upgraded senior center as Somerset County buys 2.5 acres next to the current facility on South Branch Road. Mayor Catherine Payne and Committeeman Robert Britting Jr. say the existing center is overcrowded, and the expansion will support broader services and programs for the township's growing senior population. Local groups are already contributing funds and support.
